Mixed neuroendocrine-nonneuroendocrine neoplasm, abbreviated MiNEN, is rare malignant neuroendocrine neoplasm that is a subset of poorly differentiated neuroendocrine carcinoma.[1]

General

These tumour have gone by many different names including:[2]

  • Mixed adenoneuroendocrine carcinoma (MANEC).
  • Signet ring cell carcinoid.
  • Composite carcinoid-adenocarcinoma.
