Adenocarcinoma of the urinary bladder, also primary adenocarcinoma of the urinary bladder, is a very uncommon malignant bladder tumour.
General
- Very rare.[1]
Clinical:
- Like urothelial carcinoma - usu. hematuria.[1]
Microscopic
Features:
- Nuclear pleomorphism.
- Glandular differentiation.
- No urothelial differentiation.[2]
DDx:
- Urachal carcinoma.
- Invasive urothelial carcinoma with glandular differentiation.
- Metastatic adenocarcinoma.
IHC
Features - variable:[3]
- CK7 +ve.
- CK20 +ve.
