Colonic pseudo-obstruction is an uncommon pathology of the colon that rarely comes to pathology.
Ogilvie's syndrome is an acute colonic pseudo-obstruction.[1]
General
- Uncommon seen in pathology.
- Usually managed conservatively.[2]
- May lead to perforation.
- Associated with chronic illness.
