Leiomyoblastoma of the stomach, also gastric leiomyoblastoma, is a very rare tumour of the stomach.

General

• This is essentially an epithelioid leiomyoma.
• Found in the uterus.

Microscopic

Features:

• Epithelioid (or polygonal) cells with perinuclear clearing - key feature.

DDx:

• Epithelioid gastrointestinal stromal tumour.
