Reactive

Microscopic

The sections show squamous epithelium with focal glycogenation. A granular cell layer and thin stratum corneum are present. No epithelial nuclear enlargement and no mitotic activity are noted. Scattered perivascular mononuclear cells and melanophages are present in the superficial dermis.

Final

Labia, right, biopsy:
- REACTIVE EPITHELIUM.
- NEGATIVE FOR DYSPLASIA AND NEGATIVE FOR MALIGNANCY.
