The von Hippel-Lindau syndrome is characterized by (mnemonic: HIPPEL):[1]
- Hemanigoblastomas.
- Increased renal cancer (clear cell RCC).
- Pheochromocytoma.
- Port-wine stains.
- Eye dysfunction.
- Liver cysts.
- pancreas cyts.
- kidney cysts.
Bare bones version:
- Hippel-Lindau, with H and L as above.
