Myopericytoma, also glomangiopericytoma, is a rare perivascular soft tissue tumour.
General
- Usu. benign.
- Typically in the distal extremities.[1]
Microscopic
Features:
- Abundant, branching thin-walled blood vessels.
- Small bland epithelioid cells with moderate eosinophilic cytoplasm.
- Unequally spaced cells (unlike glomus tumour).
Notes:
- Features overlap with myofibroma.[2]
