Sections show a biphasic tumour ~~in which prominent nuclear palisades are common in the~~ areas ~~of dense~~ cellularity (Antoni A). No mitotic activity is detected. There are degenerative changes with hemosiderin deposition focally.

Sections show a biphasic spindle cell tumour with low cellularity areas (Antoni B) and high cellularity areas (Antoni A). In the high cellularity areas there are prominent nuclear palisades. No mitotic activity is detected.

There are degenerative changes with hemosiderin deposition focally.

Focally, the tumour has a whorled appearance; however, there are no calcifications.
