B. Stomach, Biopsy:
- Body-type gastric mucosa with moderate chronic active inflammation
  and abundant HELICOBACTER-LIKE ORGANISMS.
- NEGATIVE for intestinal metaplasia.
- NEGATIVE for dysplasia and NEGATIVE for malignancy.
COMMENT:
Increased intraepithelial lymphocytes are a nonspecific finding. They are seen in celiac disease; however, may be explained by the Helicobacter-like organisms
in this case. Follow-up or serology is suggested exclude the possibility of celiac disease.
