Esophageal ring is an uncommon pathology that afflict the esophagus.
General
- Dysphagia (difficulty swallowing).[1]
- Clinical diagnosis.
Gross
- Ring-like narrowing of the esophageal lumen.
Microscopic
Features:[2]
- Inflamed squamous mucosa.
- Occasionally columnar epithelium.

- Histologic findings are nonspecific.
