Micro

The sections show proliferative endometrium with marked focal gland coiling; vertically (in the axis of the glands) the glands appear compressed (pseudo-back-to-back glands). However, the glands are horizontally separated by a moderate amount of stroma.

No sharp transition is seen between the coiled glands and the surrounding unremarkable (proliferative) endometrium (suggests benign). No cribriforming of glands is identified. No stromal desmoplastic response is seen. Nuclear atypia is not readily apparent.

Most of the endometrium is unremarkable proliferative endometrium.
