The halo nevus is a melanocytic lesion with a particular clinical appearance.
General
- Benign.
Gross
- Central zone of pigment.
- Peripherally a pale halo.

Microscopic
Features:
- Epidermal melanocytes not nested.
- May have dermal and/or epidermal component.
- Central zone of pigment.
- Lymphocytes at perimeter of lesion.
