Sleeve gastrectomy is a surgical procedure to treat obesity. It is a common ditzel in GI pathology at centres that have obesity surgery.
General
- Indication: morbid obesity.
- The prevalence of Helicobacter gastritis is 33-44%.[1][2]
- GISTs are seen in 0.6% of cases (based on a series of 827 patients[3]).
