EPIC is a commonly used electronic patient record (EPR).
The pathology module is Beaker.
Frozen section
- Case builder.
- Enter surgical number, e.g. 22-S00001.
- Enter ".frozen" to get template.
- Edit the fields.
- Click "Specimen done".
- Click "Prelim Intra-op" to sign.
Missing collection info
- Enter "Case builder".
- Click on the "Builder" tab.
- Click on the specimen (e.g. "A")
- Click on the "crayon" specimen.
- Enter the date.
- Click on the "crayon" specimen.
- Click on the specimen (e.g. "A")
- Click on the "Builder" tab.
