BCL6 is a commonly used immunostain in hematopathology. BCL6 is gene and formally known as BCL6 transcription repressor.[1][2]
Normal staining
- Marks germinal centre cells.
Note:
- Usually paired with BCL2 which is normally negative in germinal centres.
Pathologic positive
- Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma - may be negative.
- Burkitt lymphoma.
- Others.
