Bacteria cause lotsa problems. They are not infrequently seen by pathologists.

- Gram positive bacillus.
One virulent strain is:[1][2] BI/NAP1.
- Deletion of tcdC locus.
- Resistant to fluoroquinolones (gatifloxacin and moxifloxacin).
