Bacteria cause lotsa problems. They are not infrequently seen by pathologists.

Helicobacter pylori

Clostridium difficile

  • Commonly C. difficile.

One virulent strain is:[1][2] BI/NAP1.

  • Deletion of tcdC locus.
  • Resistant to fluoroquinolones (gatifloxacin and moxifloxacin).
