This article covers obscure anatomy of the heart.

  • Plica transversae aortae = between aortic root & reflection.[1]
  • Vincula aortae = aorta & pulmonary artery attachment, site of rupture.[2]

Left ventricle vs. right ventricle=

  • LV.
    • Smooth outflow tract.
  • RV.
    • Infundibulum.
    • Crista ventricularis = muscular ridge in RVOT between tricuspid valve and pulmonary valve.[3]
