Diplomate of the American Board of Pathology is the thing one becomes when one passes the American Board of Pathology examination.
Examination
Two components:
- "Written" component.
- It is a misnomer... it is all multiple choice.
- No pictures.
- "Practical" component.
- Images, virtual slides and glass slides.
- All multiple choice. Questions may be hinged... e.g. it is a tubular adenoma and they ask what syndrome may they be seen in.
