Diplomate of the American Board of Pathology is the thing one becomes when one passes the American Board of Pathology examination.

Examination

Two components:

  1. "Written" component.
      • It is a misnomer... it is all multiple choice.
      • No pictures.
  2. "Practical" component.
      • Images, virtual slides and glass slides.
      • All multiple choice. Questions may be hinged... e.g. it is a tubular adenoma and they ask what syndrome may they be seen in.

Location

  • Tampa, Florida.[1]
