Summary

Description CNS: SUBEPENDYMOMA Subependymomas of the fourth ventricle arise from the floor or roof of the ventricle to obstruct cerebrospinal fluid flow and to compress the underlying medulla. Such tumors may extend into the cerebellopontine angle via the foramen of Luschka, as is seen at the right of the illustration.
