Die Tumorzellen exprimieren den Zytokeratinsubtyp CK7 (braun), nicht aber CK20; die Kerne der Tumorzellen färben sich in der TTF1-Färbung deutlich an. Der immunhistochemische Befund spricht somit am ehesten für eine Hirnmetatase eines Bronchialkarzinoms.
