Summary

Description
English: Very high magnification micrograph showing emperipolesis in a lymph node affected by Rosai-Dorfman disease, also known as sinus histiocytosis with massive lymphadenopathy. H&E stain.

Emperipolesis is phagocytosis of whole cells. It is not specific for Rosai-Dorfman disease.
