TTF-1 negative

Left Supraclavicular Lymph Node, Biopsy:
     - SMALL CELL CARCINOMA, see comment:

Comment:
The tumour cells stain as follows:
POSITIVE: synaptophysin, CD56, CK7.
NEGATIVE: TTF-1, p63, CK5/6, CK20.

Small cell carcinoma of the lung that is NEGATIVE for TTF-1 exists but is uncommon.
The possibility of a non-lung primary should be considered within the clinical context.

The case was partially reviewed internally.

Keratin negative SmCC?

Terada thinks it exists: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3282443/

Some other considerations - as per Borcz: https://handouts.uscap.org/AN2017/2017_CM07_Borcz_0201.pdf
