Polyhydramnios is too much amniotic fluid.

Associations

Polyhydramnios is associated fetal and maternal factors:[1]

  • Maternal diabetes mellitus.
  • Advanced maternal age.
  • Fetal anomalies.
  • Fetal macrosomia (large fetus[2]).
