Polyembryoma is a rare type of germ cell tumour that is typically seen as a component of a mixed germ cell tumour.

Features:

  • Disc shaped structure (embryo-like) with:
    • The one side endoderm.
      • Skin/CNS.
    • The other side ectoderm.
      • Internal organs - GI tract.
