Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, abbreviated NSAID, a commonly used group of drugs.

Common NSAIDs

Acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) - AKA aspirin.
Ibuprofen.
Naproxen.

Indications

Pain, e.g. osteoarthritis.
Cardioprotection (asprin) - low dose.
