Meningoencephalocele

Meningoencephalocele is an abnormal sac of brain, cerebrospinal fluid and meninges that herniates through a defect in the skull.[1]

General

Causes - temporal bone:[2]

  • Congential.
  • Traumatic.
  • Post-mastoidectomy.
