Epithelioid cell lesions are very common in pathology.

Malignant epithelioid lesions are usually a carcinoma.

A short differential diagnosis:

Epithelioid sarcomas

All rules are made to be broken... some epithelioid lesions are sarcomas:[1]

Others:

An exhaustive DDx of large epithelioid tumour is in large epithelioid tumours.
