Eosinophil is a common type of white blood cell.

Microscopic

Features:

  • Bilobed nucleus.
  • Granular eosinophilic cytoplasm.

DDx:

  • Paneth cells - for intraepithelial eosinophils.
    • Eosinophils have smaller (~1/2) more intensely red granules.
