Breast cancer is a common malignancy in women, and is also seen in a small number of men. Most breast cancers are carcinomas; thus, breast carcinoma redirects to this article.
More specifically, breast cancer may refer to one of the following:
- Non-invasive breast cancer - an early form of breast cancer that has a very good prognosis.
- Invasive breast cancer - a more advanced breast cancer with a prognosis that varies from good to very poor.
