Appendix of the testis

Appendix of the testis is a benign structure of the testis that is a remnant of the Muellerian duct.[1]

It should not be confused with the appendix of the epididymis.

General

  • Present in approximately 90% of individuals.[2]

  • Non-ciliated pseudostratified epithelium.
