Microscopic

Features:

  • Morphologic features of both squamous carcinoma and adenocarcinoma:
    • Adenocarcinoma: gland forming or mucin vacuoles.
    • Squamous carcinoma: abundant eosinophilic cytoplasm, central nucleus.
