Acquired digital fibrokeratoma is a rare benign skin tumour.[1]

General

  • May be due to trauma.[2]

Gross

  • Well circumscribed nodule.

Microscopic

Features:[2]

  • Acanthotic epidermis.
  • Fibrotic dermis with "vertically oriented" collagen bundles.
    • "Vertically oriented": deep to superficial (as opposed to along the surface of the skin).
