Interstitial cystitis is a benign painful pathology of the urinary bladder.

It is also known as painful bladder syndrome.[1][2]

  • Frequency.
  • Pain.

Treatment:

  • Difficult.[1]
  • Fulguration of ulcers (if present) may provide symptomatic relief.[3]

  • +/-Ulceration.

Microscopic
